A clog can generally be fixed with a standard plunger. Simply push your plunger over the drainage hole in your toilet and pump it vigorously. Be careful not to flush the toilet multiple times, as this could cause the bathroom to be flooded.
If your bathtub or sink becomes clogged, you may be able to clear the drain with a plunger or using a small plastic drain cleaning tool, available at most hardware stores.
Please do not use chemicals to clear the pipes, as this could damage the system.
If you lose all electrical power in your property, there may be a number of different causes, including bad weather or construction-related problems.
Before you do anything else, call your utility provider or check their website for outage information.
If you trip the circuit breaker in your home - usually indicated by losing partial power to a portion of your home - you may need to reset it. Locate the breaker and ensure it’s flipped to the ON position.
If your HVAC isn’t working properly, locate the central thermostat in your property. Check that the settings have not been changed by accident. If your thermostat has a reset function, attempt to cycle your system.
You might also want to call your electrical company to make certain there are no problems with your account.
